K athak Dance mimics the whirling
energies through the fast spinning turns,
connecting the feet to the earth with
infinite rhythmic patterns. All of these
elements reflect a wide range of
emotions and hand gestures which evoke
expression from the heart chakra.
Kathak is a manifestation of the interaction
of the chakras, which are associated with
the seven basic levels of consciousness.

a symbolic representation of the energy
